The LGBTQIA+ community is facing a never-ending onslaught of hate and discrimination now more than ever.  New state discrimination and “don’t say gay” laws have taken on monumental proportions combined with the attempts of state legislatures to take away our right to vote.  I will never cease in fighting against discrimination against the queer community in the workplace, housing, healthcare and other services that we are all entitled to under the Constitution.  Furthermore, I recognize the bullying our young queer community is experiencing and the devastating impact it brings on them and their families.  I will join others to combat the treatment and physical abuse of our queer children whether it be over the internet at school or in public.
