Meet Geoffrey Grammer
Geoffrey Grammer is a fearless visionary who knows that doing the right thing is not always the easiest thing. A husband, father, physician and retired U.S. Army Colonel, Geoffrey will fight for Marylanders in Congress with the same compassion and courageous spirit that has always guided him.
Geoffrey served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, deploying three times, twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. During his first deployment, Christiane Amanpour interviewed him for “60 Minutes” to discuss leading mental health professionals into remote combat areas so soldiers would not have to travel to access care. He was awarded a Bronze Star medal for being the main driving force behind carrying out his unit’s wartime mission, and the Combat Action Badge for direct combat engagement.
